No registration. No fine print. No expiry date. If something isn’t right with the glass we fitted, we put it right.
What’s covered
- Water leaks around the glass or seal
- Wind noise caused by the fitment
- Faulty mouldings, clips and trims we supplied
- Stress cracks caused by incorrect fitting
- Defects in the glass itself, including delamination and distortion
- Adhesive failure or bonding faults
- Re-calibration if an ADAS fault traces back to our workmanship
Cover applies for as long as you own the vehicle. It’s tied to you, not to the glass, so it ends if the vehicle is sold.
What’s not covered
We’ll always be straight with you about this.
- New chips, cracks or breakage from stones, impact or vandalism
- Damage from accidents, break-ins or attempted theft
- Rust or corrosion in the vehicle body, including the windscreen frame (pinchweld), whether present before our work or developing afterwards
- Leaks, wind noise or bonding failure caused by rust, corrosion, prior accident repair, paint or body filler failure, or previous poor-quality fitting
- Pre-existing damage or faults present before we started
- Work altered or repaired by someone else after we fitted it
- Wear from age, sunlight or car grooming chemicals on rubbers and trims
Rust and corrosion
Glass is bonded to the steel frame around the windscreen aperture. If that steel is rusted, no adhesive in the world will hold a permanent seal – and the rust will keep spreading under the bond line whatever we do.
Rust is a vehicle condition, not a fitting fault, so it sits outside this guarantee.
If we find rust during the job
- The technician stops and shows you what’s there.
- We note it on your job sheet and record it in our system, with photos.
- You choose: have the vehicle repaired properly first, or have us proceed on the understanding that the installation is fitted as-is and not guaranteed against leaks or bonding failure.
Either way, you’ll know before the glass goes in. We won’t quietly bond over rust and hope it holds.
If rust develops later
Around a windscreen we fitted, that’s the vehicle ageing, not our workmanship. We’re happy to inspect it and quote the repair, but it isn’t a guarantee claim.
Why we can offer it
Every installation is done by a qualified auto glass technician using OEM or OEM-equivalent glass and high-modulus urethane adhesive rated for the vehicle. We observe the manufacturer’s safe drive-away time on every job, so your windscreen is bonded to full structural strength before you get back on the road.
Where the vehicle has driver assistance cameras or sensors, calibration is completed and documented as part of the fit.
That’s why a lifetime guarantee costs us very little. We rarely need to use it.
Making a claim
- Call us or send us a message with your rego and roughly when the work was done.
- We’ll book a time that suits, at the branch that did the work or at your home or workplace.
- We inspect, diagnose and fix it. No charge, no argument.
We hold the records, so you don’t need to find a receipt.
Your rights. This guarantee sits on top of your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. It doesn’t replace or reduce them.
